ENSLAVEMENT (COMIC)
The Enslavement story was created in 2011 and self-published shortly thereafter. In 2014, it was translated into English and published by Hellbound Media. It is a black&white comic spanning over 80 pages, drawn entirely on paper using ink and some screen tones, with the exception of a couple of pages near the end that feature a digital montage of panels. The story follows a young goth who has run away from the orphanage where he lived since childhood; he witnesses a human sacrifice performed by a satanic cult in the woods. One of the members abducts him to make him a slave and locks him in a cage; thus begins Aden’s (the boy's name) new life in the service of a silent, gruff, and violent man named Revenge.
The two learn to coexist, while also grappling with their own dark thoughts and desires. Although the original story contains neither sexual nor romantic involvement, I consider it a love story.
In the real world, I neither tolerate nor justify any form of violence or abuse; however, this is the realm of fiction—no one gets hurt, and the characters can be whatever they want to be. / La storia di Enslavement è stata creata nel 2011 ed autopubblicata di lì a poco. Nel 2014 viene tradotta in Inglese e pubblicata dalla Hellbound Media. Si tratta di un fumetto di 80+ pagine in bianco e nero disegnato tutto su carta con inchiostro e qualche retino, tranne un paio di pagine verso la fine che vedono un montaggio digitale delle vignette. La storia tratta di un giovane goth scappato dall'orfanotrofio in cui viveva fin da bambino, che assiste ad un sacrificio umano nel bosco per mano di una setta satanica. Uno dei membri lo rapisce per farne il proprio schiavo e metterlo in una gabbia e da qui, Aden (questo il nome del ragazzo), inizierà la sua nuova vita al servizio di un uomo silenzioso, burbero e violento: Revenge.
I due impareranno a convivere, anche con i loro stessi oscuri pensieri e desideri. Nonostante nella storia originale non ci sia nè coinvolgimento sessuale, nè romantico, considero questa come una storia d'amore.
Nel mondo reale non tollero alcun tipo di violenza, nè di abuso, nè le giustifico, ma qui siamo nel mondo della finzione, nessuno si fa male e i personaggi possono essere quello che vogliono.
ENSLAVEMENT: UNDER A FROZEN MOON (COMIC)
After years spent imagining all sorts of sequel scenarios following the conclusion of the original work, I am finally writing and beginning to draw the follow-up between 2024 and 2025. This marks the start of a deeper exploration into the characters' psychology and lives. Although only about thirty pages have been created so far (available exclusively on Patreon, as the story is and will remain entirely uncensored). I anticipate the final length will well exceed 100 pages; the narrative will feature both sex and romance, to the extent possible. The violence will also intensify, in a sense.
The story remains in black&white to preserve the style of the original work, but it's being created entirely digitally.
As the pages are completed, they will be uploaded to Patreon under the "The Supermassive Black Hole" tier, available to read in both Italian and English. / Dopo anni passati ad immaginarmi i più svariati scenari di sequel rispetto alla fine dell'opera originale, tra il 2024 e il 2025 scrivo finalmente il seguito ed inizio a disegnarlo. Così ha inizio un'approfondimento nella psicologia dei personaggi e nelle loro vite. Nonostante siano state create solo una trentina di pagine leggibili soltanto su Patreon (poichè la storia non è e non sarà censurata in nessun modo) ne prevedo molte più di 100 questa volta e ci sarà sia sesso che romanticismo, per quanto possibile. Aumenterà anche la violenza, da un certo punto di vista.
La storia è sempre in bianco e nero, cercando di mantenere l'impronta dell'opera originale, ma sarà completamente digitale.
Man mano che le tavole saranno finite, verranno caricate su Patreon, nel livello denominato "The Supermassive Black Hole" leggibili sia in italiano che in inglese.

This illustration depicts an event from the sequel, set faaaar in the future. Revenge took Aden shopping at his favorite goth store, telling him he could pick out whatever he wanted. Aden, however, feels conflicted; he doesn't want to take advantage of the situation, even though he’s thrilled about it, because he feels guilty and like a burden since Revenge is paying for everything. Aden spots items he likes but puts them aside because they cost too much, opting for cheaper alternatives instead; Revenge notices this and gets a bit pissed off, as he can't stand the idea of the boy making choices for him. / Quest'illustrazione rappresenta un accadimento del sequel, mooolto nel futuro. Revenge ha portato Aden a fare shopping nel suo negozio goth preferito: gli ha detto che può scegliere quello che vuole. Aden però si fa problemi perchè non vuole approffittarne, benchè sia molto contento della cosa; si sente in colpa/un peso perchè paga tutto Revenge. Aden vede cose che gli piacciono, ma costano troppo per cui le accantona e ne sceglie altre, meno costose, ma Reve se ne accorge ed è leggermente incazzato perchè non sopporta che il ragazzo scelga/decida al posto suo.
